A matchmaking event to connect Ukrainian and German renewable energy companies to present business opportunities from the decentralized renewable energy and water supply sector, as well as to inform about the current energy-related perspectives of the country. 

10 Ukrainian companies will deliver presentations in the context of implementing renewable energy during the event.

The war has hit the renewable energy sector of Ukraine. Renewable energy power plants have been damaged or are out of service as they cannot be operated and maintained. As a result, energy and water supply, especially in the affected areas, is often unavailable. A sustainable supply of reliable decentralized energy and water for the residential, industrial, and commercial sectors is strongly needed. 

Ukrainian renewable energy companies and associations are looking for cooperation partners, particularly in Germany, to provide prompt resistance in the energy sphere, the immediate overcoming of the consequences of war, and the reconstruction of a free Ukraine.

The German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) supports Ukraine in its civilian crisis response and reconstruction. In this context, Business Scouts for Development Program (on behalf of BMZ), in cooperation with the German Renewable Energy Federation (BEE) and Global 100% RE Ukraine, is organizing a matchmaking event to connect Ukraine and German renewable energy companies to present hands-on business opportunities from the decentralized renewable energy and water supply sector, as well as to inform about the current energy-related perspectives of the country.

This event will be supported by the matchmaking platform leverist.de and its special initiative for Ukraine, the Agency for Business & Economic and Development (AWE), as well as the Düsseldorf and Rheinhessen Chambers of Commerce and Industry, which are competence centers for Ukraine in Germany
